Spotify expands audiobooks to over 180 markets

SO YOU KNOW HOW EVERYONE WAS SAYING THAT SPOTIFY IS JUST MUSIC, BUT THEY ARE WRONG BECAUSE THEY JUST EXPANDED AUDIOBOOKS TO OVER 180 MARKETS. IT IS NOT JUST THE BIG ENGLISH ONES ANYMORE, THEY ARE MOVING INTO EUROPE, THE AMERICAS, THE MIDDLE EAST, AFRICA, AND ASIA, WHICH IS WILD BECAUSE THAT IS LIKE 750 MILLION USERS SUDDENLY GETTING ACCESS TO 350,000 TITLES IN OVER 120 LANGUAGES. THEY ARE TRYING TO FIGHT AUDIBLE AND OTHER APPS BY WORKING WITH OVER 300 PUBLISHERS LIKE PLANETA AND MONDADORI, SO PEOPLE IN SPAIN GET 45,000 SPANISH TITLES SPECIFICALLY. THE ROLLOUT STARTS RIGHT NOW AND KEEPS GOING FOR MONTHS, WHICH JUST SHOWS THEY ARE SERIOUS ABOUT TAKING OVER THE WHOLE AUDIO MARKET, NOT JUST THE SONGS ON MY PLAYLIST. ANYWAY THAT IS WHY I AM LIKE THIS.

Spotify is expanding its audiobook service to over 180 markets worldwide, offering 350,000 titles in 120 languages to compete with other audiobook apps.
