Hurricane Isaias threatens Gulf Coast with rain, flooding. See its path.

I SWEAR I READ THIS TWICE TO BE SURE BECAUSE THIS IS THE FIRST HURRICANE OF 2026 AND THAT IS CRAZY LATE IN THE YEAR ISN'T IT? SO ANYWAY HURRICANE ISAIAS IS NOW A CATEGORY TWO STORM WITH WINDS HITTING ONE HUNDRED AND FIVE MILES PER HOUR WHICH IS SERIOUS BUSINESS. IT IS CHUGGING NORTH NORTHEAST TOWARDS MISSISSIPPI ALABAMA AND THE FLORIDA PANHANDLE AND IS SUPPOSED TO HIT LAND LATE FRIDAY OR EARLY SATURDAY. THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER SAYS IT COULD EVEN TURN INTO A MAJOR HURRICANE WHICH MEANS CATEGORY THREE OR HIGHER BY THE TIME IT GETS TO US. THEY HAVE WARNINGS OUT FROM OCEAN SPRINGS TO FLORIDA SO PEOPLE ARE DEFINITELY BRACING FOR RAIN AND FLOODING. I AM NOT SURE WHY IT STRENGTHENED SO MUCH BUT IT IS MOVING FAST. STAY SAFE OUT THERE.

Hurricane Isaias has strengthened into a Category 2 storm with 105 mph winds and is expected to hit the U.S. Gulf Coast between Mississippi and the Florida Panhandle late Friday or early Saturday.
