Deadly Isaias weakens as it lashes Southeast with rain and flooding

SO THE PART THAT GOT ME IS THIS: HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT THE STORM YET? YEAH, HURRICANE ISAIAS SLAMMED INTO THE FLORIDA PANHANDLE NEAR DESTIN AS A CATEGORY TWO AND IT WAS BAD, LIKE ROOFS RIPPED OFF CONDO BUILDINGS BAD. IT HAS WEAKENED SINCE THEN BUT THE AFTERMATH IS STILL BRUTAL BECAUSE OVER 700,000 PEOPLE ARE SITTING IN THE DARK WITHOUT POWER ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST RIGHT NOW. THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER SAYS AT LEAST TWO PEOPLE HAVE DIED, WHICH IS JUST AWFUL, AND NOW THE REMNANTS OF THE STORM ARE MOVING NORTH WITH HEAVY RAIN AND TORNADO THREATS FOR GEORGIA AND THE CAROLINAS. SOME PLACES ARE LOOKING AT UP TO TEN INCHES OF RAIN, SO FLASH FLOODING IS A REAL RISK FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS. THIS IS SERIOUS STUFF, MAN.

Hurricane Isaias has weakened after making landfall in Florida as a Category 2 hurricane, leaving at least two people dead and over 700,000 customers without power across the southeastern U.S.
