Republicans and Democrats find a unifying target: Pharmacy benefit managers

RIGHT HERE IS WHERE IT GETS GOOD, LIKE BUYING A REALLY EXPENSIVE AVOCADO TOAST THAT JUST ENDS UP BEING BLAND BREAD. SO APPARENTLY BOTH REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS HAVE STOPPED FIGHTING ABOUT LITERALLY EVERYTHING ELSE TO TEAM UP AGAINST THESE PHARMACY BENEFIT MANAGERS. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THEY DO BUT EVERYBODY HATES THEM, LIKE PATIENTS ARE MAD AND POLITICIANS ARE MAD AND NOW TENNESSEE AND ARKANSAS ARE JUST STRAIGHT UP REGULATING THEM. WHICH IS WILD BECAUSE YOU NEVER SEE BOTH SIDES AGREEING ON ANYTHING IN THIS COUNTRY, SO NOW WE HAVE THIS MASSIVE UNITED FRONT AGAINST THESE HEALTHCARE MIDDLEMEN. IT IS HONESTLY A BIT ALARMING TO THINK ABOUT HOW MUCH POWER THEY MIGHT HAVE HAD IF EVERYONE IS SUDDENLY LOOKING AT THEM LIKE THAT. ANYWAY, WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE.

Republicans and Democrats have found common ground in their shared opposition to pharmacy benefit managers, leading states like Tennessee and Arkansas to begin implementing new regulations.
