WE ARE ALL GOING TO BE TALKING ABOUT THIS BECAUSE BRAZIL IS THE BIGGEST ECONOMY IN LATIN AMERICA AND THEY ARE HEADING FOR A TOTAL SHOWDOWN WHICH IS WILD BECAUSE NO ONE GOT THE MAJORITY NEEDED TO WIN THE PRESIDENCY RIGHT NOW SO IT IS GOING TO A RUN-OFF OCTOBER 25TH. ON ONE SIDE YOU HAVE THE INCUMBENT PRESIDENT LULA WHO IS EIGHTY YEARS OLD AND RUNNING FOR A FOURTH TERM AND ON THE OTHER SIDE YOU HAVE SENATOR FLAVIO BOLSONARO WHO IS THE SON OF THE FORMER PRESIDENT WHO IS CURRENTLY SERVING A TWENTY-SEVEN YEAR PRISON SENTENCE FOR PLOTTING A COUP AFTER THE LAST ELECTION. BOLSONARO ACTUALLY BEAT THE POLLING EXPECTATIONS WITH MILLIONS MORE VOTES THAN LULA AND THE WHOLE COUNTRY IS DEEPLY POLARIZED OVER CRIME AND COSTS. ANYWAY THAT IS THE STATE OF THINGS.

Brazil's presidential election will go to a run-off on October 25 between leftist President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and right-wing Senator Flavio Bolsonaro, as neither won a majority.
