Judge halts tree removal at Washington golf course Trump eyes for expansion

HONESTLY I HAD TO CHECK IT WAS NOT A JOKE BUT JUDGE ANA REYES JUST ORDERED A TOTAL 24-HOUR HALT ON CUTTING DOWN TREES AT THE EAST POTOMAC GOLF COURSE, WHICH IS NUTS BECAUSE THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE HAD ALREADY SCHEDULED THE REMOVAL OF 169 TREES STARTING SATURDAY WITH ANOTHER 90 SLATED LATER ON! THE JUDGE IS MAKING THE NATIONAL MALL SUPERINTENDENT KEVIN GRIESS EXPLAIN THE TIMELINE AND WHO ACTUALLY ORDERED THIS STUFF BECAUSE APPARENTLY, THEY CLAIMED THESE 500 TREES DO NOT CONTRIBUTE TO THE HISTORIC LANDSCAPE BUT THE JUDGE WARNED THAT THIS IS LIKELY CAUSING IRREPARABLE HARM WHILE THERE IS STILL A PENDING COURT CASE ABOUT DONALD TRUMP’S PLANS TO TURN THE WHOLE THING INTO A WORLD-CLASS GOLF VENUE, SO NOW EVERYTHING IS PAUSED WHILE SHE DIGS INTO IT. ANYWAY I WILL SEND YOU THE LINK TOMORROW.
