Nic Claxton out 2 weeks with preseason hamstring injury

SO THIS HAPPENED WHILE WE WERE IN HERE AND IT'S TRAGIC FOR THE BULLS SEASON OPENER ON WEDNESDAY! COACH TIAGO SPLITTER JUST ANNOUNCED NIC CLAXTON IS OUT FOR TWO WEEKS WITH A HAMSTRING INJURY WHICH IS WILD BECAUSE THEY JUST PICKED HIM UP IN JULY FOR DEFENSE! HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE GUY FOR RIM PROTECTION AND SCORING BUT NOW HE IS GETTING REEVALUATED LATER. SO NOW THE STARTING LINEUP FOR THE PHOENIX SUNS GAME HAS A GAP SINCE THEY WERE COUNTING ON HIM TO BE ANCHORING THE PAINT FOR THIS REBUILDING SQUAD! JALEN SMITH IS STEPPING UP TO FILL THAT SPOT INSTEAD WHILE THE ROOKIES AND VETS LIKE GIDDEY TRY TO FIGURE IT OUT. THE TEAM DID NOT SEE THIS COMING AT ALL! ANYWAY I NEED A WATER IMMEDIATELY.

Chicago Bulls center Nic Claxton will miss two weeks with a hamstring injury, forcing Jalen Smith to fill the starting role for the preseason opener against the Phoenix Suns.
